Compared with a normal NAS, the TBS-453DX's usage of M.2 SSDs for storage allows it to be significantly smaller and quieter. The RAM and M.2 SSDs are also easily accessible for installation and upgrading by removing the rubber pads and screws on the bottom of the TBS-453DX. CacheMount is a file-level gateway that makes reaching online files extremely easy, while you can also leverage the multimedia and file management functions provided by QTS to those online files as they are located on the TBS-453DX. VJBOD Cloud is block-level gateway that mounts cloud space on the NAS as block storage for creating volumes or iSCSI LUNs. Transferring a large number of small files thus becomes more efficient, and it saves bandwidth as the system only transfers changed data.
